| James Vernon was a Professional
Touring Comedian for 15 years. He has performed at some of America's
finest comedy venues; Improv in LA, Dangerfields in N.Y., Star Dome
in AL, He has been seen on; Showtime, B.E.T., & Comedy
from the Road, just to name a few of his achievements. James has
written for; Jay Leno, Jerry Seinfield, Bill Hicks, D.L. Hughley, Steve
Harvey and many more.
He (James Vernon) held comedy writing classes in Houston at the Comedy Workshop, for over a year, and several classes in Clearwater at the Ron Bennington Comedy Scene (now closed). The Comedy Writing Class will meet every Sunday for 2 hours, for 6 weeks. The class is geared to help the Professional Writer sharpen his skills as well as the up & coming stand up on his/her way to the top. The class will give detailed instructions on everything from funny words to the right face to use with the right word, timing and the delivery of a punch line. From start - the premise - to finish - the punch line -. Everything about humorist writing will be covered! |
